The Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) organized an insightful industrial visit for our Tourism and Hospitality students and faculty on 5 th June 2025 to DHAI-R Jacaranda.
This visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world practices by exposing students to innovative hospitality operations, industry standards, and tourism strategies in action.
The energy was electric on June 2nd as we kicked off the 1st Round of the 9th Cohort
sessions at the FUBIC Conference Room!
Over 30 ambitious startups took the stage to pitch their innovative ideas in front of our
esteemed jury:

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) and Blue Lagoon Complex, Rawalpindi on May 16, 2025. Syed Taimoor Hassan, Director FUBIC, FUI, and Col Asim Saleem Khan (R), SI(M), CEO, Blue Lagoon, inked the agreement for discount packages to the FUI Family.

Team Crazy Ciphers from FUSST secured 2nd place in the NUMLogic Computing Quiz Competition, showcasing their skills in core computing disciplines. Students Umair Waheed and Raja Muhammad Ali received recognition and awards for their exceptional performance. The achievement highlights the talent and quality of education at FUSST. The Placement & Outreach Office, in collaboration with the Pakistan Girl Guides Association (PGGA), organized a four-day training from April 21–24, 2025, focused on personal safety, online security, substance abuse prevention, and emotional wellbeing. Led by Ms. Saba Shahab (Deputy Director Training, PGGA) and Ms. Faiza Awan (Trainer, PGGA), the program trained female students from English, Management Sciences, Economics & Finance, and Software Engineering departments.

FUSH Sports 2025 was held at FUSH Campus / Ayub Park cricket stadium from 24th Feb to 27th Feb 2025. The competition featured a variety of sports activities including Cricket, Futsal, Badminton, Table Tennis, Basketball, Dodge the ball, Volleyball and Tug of war. Fun games were also played on the Final day including Chatti Race, Spoon Race, Three-Legged Race, Sac Race, Musical Chair for Female Faculty and Faculty / Staff Children Race. These events were held among students of FUMC, FUCD, FUCP and FUCN.
UNO celebrates the World Hearing Day on 3rd of March each year. The day aims to raise awareness about preventing hearing loss. Foundation University, and its constituent hospital (Fauji Foundation Hospital) have taken up a key role and a firm commitment to treat birth related deafness. This is a multidisciplinary project that requires input from ENT, Radiology, Pediatric, Anesthesia and Speech Rehabilitation department, along with a strong administrative team.
