The Progression Arrangement is an academic partnership between two higher education institutions (HEIs) that allows students from one institution to complete part of their undergraduate degree at a partner institution abroad. This arrangement is particularly beneficial for students who aspire to study internationally but may face financial constraints regarding tuition fees.
The Progression Arrangement offers three routes:
a. 2+2 Progression Route
b. 3+1 Progression Route
c. 3+2 Progression Route
2+2 Progression Route:
Students complete the first two years of their BS degree at FUI and then transfer to a partner university abroad for the remaining two years, ultimately earning a degree from the foreign institution.
3+1 Progression Route:
Students complete three years of their BS degree at FUI and then transfer to a partner university abroad for the final year, graduating with a degree from the foreign institution.
3+2 Progression Route:
Students complete three years of their BS degree at FUI and then transfer to a partner university abroad for the final two years, earning a degree from the foreign institution.
In addition, FUI is open to establishing reciprocal arrangements with partner academic institutions. Under such agreements, students from partner universities can complete their final year at FUI and graduate with an FUI degree, allowing for valuable international experience and degree recognition. We encourage our partner institutions to email us at international@fui.edu.pk to initiate curriculum mapping for these arrangements.
