The office of the audit is committed primarily to assistance to rector FUI and ensurance of proper Implementation of FUI approved SOP’s relating to finance.

Functions

    • Scrutiny and pre Audit of all cases of Revenue Expenditure (FUI,FUSH,FUSST) over and above Rs.100,000/-.
    • Scrutiny and pre Audit of all cases of Capital Expenditure (FUI,FUSH,FUSST).
    • Scrutiny of Medical Bills.
    • Annual Increment of Faculty , Management and Staff.
    • Monthly Salaries (FUI,FUSH,FUSST).
    • Checking of FSA cases (Earned Leave & Provident Fund).
    • Monthly Ratification (FUSH,FUSST) of the Expenditure incurred by the Institutions of the FUI with approval of respective Director.
    • FAP/ Merit Scholarship cases.(FUSH,FUSST).
    • Financial Verification of all Research projects (HEC funded & FUI).
    • Maintaining monthly EOBI record of FUI Secretariat (Addition/Deletion/cases).
    • Participating in Tender opening, Condemnation Board & Auction etc.
    • Checking of Rehab cases of FUCP.
    • Scrutiny of Developmental projects bills.
    • Hiring/firing and promotion of faculty/Admin staff.
