Achievement
It is matter of great pride for FUI that Dr. Babur Salim Associate Professor at Rheumatology Department has recently documented a new Non-Invasive Clinical Sign titled “Babur’s Sign” for evaluation of wrist joint synovitis for rheumatoid arthritis patients. He has discovered this sign while working on an HEC Funded NRPU Research Project. The research was validated using an Ultra Sound Machine (purchased through the same project). Research paper in this regard has also been accepted in an international journal. Implementing “Babur’s Sign” into routine examination, may save time for both the patient and doctor. Being non-invasive, it will also save expenses and most importantly encourage early treatment thus yielding better prognostic outcomes for Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) patients.
