Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) organized a motivational talk session on "Women in Business Digitization" during the Entrepreneurial Week celebration on 29th November 2023 for the students of FUSST. The session aimed to discuss the connection between gender diversity and technological innovation.
Syed Taimoor Hassan, Director Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC), Islamabad, was invited as a jury member by the Institute of Space Technology (IST), Islamabad in the DevCon 2.0.
A seminar on "Exploring the Neurosciences of Addiction" was held on November 29, 2023. It provided a comprehensive exploration of the intricate relationship between neuroscience and addiction. The seminar was attended by about 150 participants, including faculty members, BS, and MS Psychology students. Mr.Fazal Wahid delivered an insightful keynote address, providing an overview of the current state of research in neurosciences related to addiction.
The Professional Development Center (PDC) and Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) partnered with the Career Pakistan’s Talk World Program to conduct the session titled “Challenges and Opportunities for Fresh Graduates in Pakistan”. The session held on 23rd Nov, 2023 aimed to shed light on the unique challenges faced by recent graduates in Pakistan's dynamic job market and explore potential opportunities for their professional growth.
Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) hosted Mr. Muhammad Rauf Raja (Secretary of International Tourism, CEO Brain Designer UK & Pakistan (FUBIC’s Alumni)) as a guest speaker in a session on "Role of Youth in Tourism & Hospitality Sector" held on 23rd November 2023 at FUSST.
In vision to equip our students with the skills and mindset necessary to excel both personally and professionally, the Professional Development Center (PDC) and Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) steered a comprehensive training program for the graduating students of FUSST. The training program comprised eight modules carefully curated to instill strong ethical values, goal-oriented thinking, and the motivation needed to embark on successful careers. Faculty of Management science students were the pioneer batch who received the complete training in the span of eight weeks.
