Conduct of three- days (03x) Training Workshop on “Assurance of Learning (AOL)"

A three-days training workshop on “Assurance of Learning (AOL)” was organized by the Department of Quality Assurance (DQA) at Foundation University Islamabad (FUI). The training workshop, held on August 8,9 & 19^th, 2024, at Conference Room FUCD&H. Department of Quality Assurance aims to equip the faculty with new techniques to improve the quality of teaching. The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan is also encouraging HEIs to conduct such training for institutional ranking and reputation. Key takeaways from the workshop include:

a.          Gain working knowledge of the AOL process

b.          Recognize    AOL    expectations    based    on    generic accreditation standards.

c.          Understand the fundamentals of competency goals and learning objectives.

d.          Basics for designing effective rubric for AOL.

e.          Evacuation mechanism involving direct and indirect measures.
