Hosting Of China Media Group (CMG), House Of Elaan And Pakistan Research Center For A Community With Shared Future (PRCCSF)

Foundation University School of Science Technology welcomed Ms. Hu Pingping, Director, China Media Group (CMG), Islamabad Station and Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, PRCCSF along with Mr. Obaid Ayub, Director, House of Elaan on 10 November 2023 for academic and professional collaboration. Brig Dr. Abdul Ghafoor (Retd), Vice Rector, Foundation University, Islamabad proposed possible collaboration and joint ventures with Chinese delegates and institutions.

The focus of the meeting was to seek possibilities about arranging exchange programs, international research conferences, seminars and symposium to explore diverse talent and multicultural research. The aim is to bring together diverse talents and promote multicultural research to enhance the professional and communication capabilities within their respective institutions.

Dr Hina Shahid Head of the Arts & Media Department of Foundation University Islamabad leaded The Chinese delegates and guests to visit the Arts & Media Department of Foundation University Islamabad and she shared information about the various professional and academic facilities and opportunities regarding media industry which are provided to students in the department. They also discussed potential collaborations between CMG, PRCCSF, and the Arts & Media department of Foundation University, Islamabad.

The delegates agreed to work together to strengthen the bond between China and Pakistan by fostering cooperation in academic and media endeavors. This commitment reflects the shared desire to deepen the friendship and partnership between the two nations.
