FUSH Sports 2025 was held at FUSH Campus / Ayub Park cricket stadium from 24th Feb to 27th Feb 2025. The competition featured a variety of sports activities including Cricket, Futsal, Badminton, Table Tennis, Basketball, Dodge the ball, Volleyball and Tug of war. Fun games were also played on the Final day including Chatti Race, Spoon Race, Three-Legged Race, Sac Race, Musical Chair for Female Faculty and Faculty / Staff Children Race. These events were held among students of FUMC, FUCD, FUCP and FUCN.
UNO celebrates the World Hearing Day on 3rd of March each year. The day aims to raise awareness about preventing hearing loss. Foundation University, and its constituent hospital (Fauji Foundation Hospital) have taken up a key role and a firm commitment to treat birth related deafness. This is a multidisciplinary project that requires input from ENT, Radiology, Pediatric, Anesthesia and Speech Rehabilitation department, along with a strong administrative team. The Self Postgraduate Program Review (PGPR) of MS and PhD programs of FUI was carried out by the Department of Quality Assurance (DQA) on January 24th, 2025, at Foundation University School of Science & Technology. The Assessment Team comprised the following members: -

Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) and the Pakistan Girls Guide Association (PGGA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 29, 2025, to foster community service and leadership development among students. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghafoor, Pro-Rector/Director FUSST, and Ms. Maria Maud Sabri, National Commissioner PGGA. Under this collaboration, PGGA will train female students in personal safety, substance abuse prevention, online security, and emotional well-being, equipping them to serve as Guide Leaders.
On November 14, 2024 Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) signed an MoU with Times Consultant Pvt Ltd to unlock new academic and professional opportunities. This collaboration will offer FUI students and faculty valuable internship, training, and visa consultancy services, along with joint events and annual sponsorships. During the signing ceremony, Pro-Rector Brig (R) Dr. Abdul Ghafoor welcomed Mr. Tahir Bashir, Director Times Consultant, presenting him with a souvenir in appreciation of this new partnership.
