FCPS part II Mock Examination Course (Haematology) was held at FUMC on 28th Dec 2022 as part of CPD/CME activity in Foundation University Islamabad. It was accredited for 3 contact hours by PMC.
The Mock Examination Course was organized by Professor Brig (R) Tariq Sarfraz, SI (M), Consultant Histopathologist & Head of Pathology Department and Professor Lubna Zafar consultant hematologist Foundation University Medical College, Islamabad.
A training session on “How to pitch perfect” delivered by Syed Taimoor Hassan, Manager FUBIC, to the participants of Hult Prize, FICS23 and FUBIC incubates on 22nd February, 2023.The session was extremely interactive and revealed the steps for pitching perfectly in front of investors or judging panel. Which improve the chances of success.
Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) hosted Mr. Ahmed Mujtaba Khan, Program Manager, National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technology (NICAT), for an Introductory Session of NICAT for the students of BS Aviation, FUSST on 17 th February 2023. The session was extremely informative and enlightened young minds to be successful innovators in the field of aviation.
"The Professional Development Center (PDC), Foundation University School of Science and Technology (FUSST) arranged a seminar on “Internship Opportunities for Pakistani Students at IAESTE '' on February 15-16, 2023, in the Seminar Hall. FUSST for 6th,7th, and 8th-semester students. IAESTE provides remote as well as on-site internship opportunities to students for their international experience, considered a key in tackling today's global challenges.
Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) awareness seminar delivered on 15th February, 2023 by Manager FUBIC Syed Taimoor Hassan, to the students of BS Aviation, FUSST. He introduced FUBIC, its facilities and all the activities to mentor them towards starting their own startup with the help of FUBIC.
The Professional Development Center (PDC), Foundation University School of Science and Technology (FUSST) arranged a two days training on “Occupational Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Management '' on February 15-16, 2023, in the Video Conference Room. FUSST. The training aimed to provide corporate employees with knowledge of potential hazards, safety protocols, and safety equipment usage.
Mr. Burhan Saiyed Head of Shahjehan S. Karim Incubation Center, Karachi, visited Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) on 26 th January 2023. During the visit, Mr. Syed Taimoor Hassan (Manager FUBIC) gave brief introduction of every startup and the FUBIC. He had a talk session with FUBIC incubated companies on the “Importance of Emotional Intelligence in Business Meetings”.
Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) organized its 7 th incubatee selection committee meeting for the induction of 7 th cohort. After intensive reviews and analysis of 62x business plans submitted by startups, 3x incubates were shortlisted and brought forward to the selection committee. All 3x incubates have been selected, by the selection committee, to be incubated at FUBIC for a period of 12 months.
Dr. Tahir Rashid – Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor, International Partnership, University of Salford, UK conducted an exploratory visit to FUI on February 02, 2023. Dr. Tahir Rashid has a fruitful meeting with Director FUSH, Director FUSST, Registrar FUI, GM Finance, Director QA & Manager Accreditation & Collaboration.
The said meeting provided a base line for engaging the two institutions into several beneficial collaborative avenues, including the following:

b. Progression Arrangement
A team of FUI officials hosted Prof. Dr. Amir Mahmood – Dean Business School, Western Sydney University, Australia for a fruitful collaborative meeting at Serena Hotel on February 02, 2023.
Director – Foundation University School of Science & Technology (FUSST), Registrar FUI, HOD Business Administration and Manager Accreditation & Collaboration represented FUI in the said meeting.
Both the parties showed keen interest in various collaborative activities including the following:
