On November 14, 2024 Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) signed an MoU with Times Consultant Pvt Ltd to unlock new academic and professional opportunities. This collaboration will offer FUI students and faculty valuable internship, training, and visa consultancy services, along with joint events and annual sponsorships. During the signing ceremony, Pro-Rector Brig (R) Dr. Abdul Ghafoor welcomed Mr. Tahir Bashir, Director Times Consultant, presenting him with a souvenir in appreciation of this new partnership.
It is to share with immense pleasure that Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) and World Health Organization (WHO) have joined hands to pursue shared objectives in advancing Universal Health Coverage in Pakistan. This partnership aligns with the mandates, expertise, and strengths of both institutions. Key areas of cooperation include the implementation of the Labor Care Guide, revision of Pre-Service Curricula, capacity building, and joint participation in various events.
A three days intensive training workshop was arranged by department of Psychology from 3 to 5 September 2024. Professor Dr. Iffat Rohail was the organizer as well as one of the resource persons. Professor Dr. Uzma Masroor, the renowned Clinical Psychologist was the second resource person. On August 21, 2024, Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) and Ideofuzion signed an MoU to enhance academic and professional opportunities for FUI students and faculty! This partnership will provide hands-on experience through internships and specialized training programs, foster innovation through joint research and development projects, and bring together academia and industry at collaborative events.
On May 20, 2024, students displayed their final year project of Organizational psychology at FUSST. This final Year project display showcases the application of organizational psychology principles to improve employee engagement and well-being within an organizational setting. In these projects, students had to organize a workshop in different organizations such as, hospitals, Banks, schools etc. The project aimed to investigate the effectiveness of different
psychological interventions to reduce stress at workplace.
