Department of Quality Assurance (DQA) at Foundation University Islamabad has successfully conducted the First External Self-Assessment Report (SAR) review of the MS MSKPT program of Foundation University College of Physical Therapy (FUCP) on (Tuesday) March 21, 2023. For this purpose, Dr. Hafiz Manan Associate Professor DPT at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU) was invited as External Subject Expert, he thoroughly reviewed the SAR of the program on 8 criteria’s and 31 standards as prescribed in the Self-Assessment Manual of HEC.

Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) startups attended 7x days “FJWU Entrepreneurship Boot Camp” held at Fatima Jinnah Women University Business Incubation Center, Rawalpindi on 25 - 31 January, 2023. The boot camp was beneficial for participants to attend intensive 7x days training program by international and national experts and focused on productivity and efficiency in the startup functions and incubation staff.
Manager FUBIC And FUBIC Startups In Twin Cities Startup Competition At COMSATS University, Islamabad
Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries (ICSTSI) organized the “Twin Cities Startup Competition” at COMSATS University, Islamabad, where 4x startups of Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) Digital Sight, NOFAOTT, BoltSun Pvt. Ltd and Meraj Healthcare Solutions took part in the event out of 35x startups from over 11x universities. Moreover, Syed Taimoor Hassan Manager FUBIC, was invited as a jury member in the event.
Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) has organized “Zindigi Prize-Campus Round” at FUBIC Conference Room on 17 th March 2023. 13x startups participated in the competition and pitched their business ideas.
Dr. Maroof, PMAS-AAUR, Mr. Asif Tarar, FJWU, Ms. Asma Aslam, Innovators Garage and Mr. Ibtasam Babar, JS Bank were the jury members for the event. Mr. Usama Founder of “GasWala” secured 1 st position. While, Ms. Rimsha Founder of “Rimsha’s Outfit” and Ms. Nimra founder of “Shwifters” secured 2 nd and 3 rd position respectively.
The Professional Development Center (PDC), Foundation University School of Science and Technology (FUSST) arranged a training session on “HEC Plagiarism/Self Plagiarism and Turnitin Policy on March 03, 2023, in the Video Conference Room. FUSST. Dr. Khushbakht Hina, Director QEC, NUML was the resource person for the said session. The training aimed to enlighten the faculty members on the issues surrounding plagiarism and practical ways to avoid it.
FCPS part II Mock Examination Course (Haematology) was held at FUMC on 28th Dec 2022 as part of CPD/CME activity in Foundation University Islamabad. It was accredited for 3 contact hours by PMC.
The Mock Examination Course was organized by Professor Brig (R) Tariq Sarfraz, SI (M), Consultant Histopathologist & Head of Pathology Department and Professor Lubna Zafar consultant hematologist Foundation University Medical College, Islamabad.
A training session on “How to pitch perfect” delivered by Syed Taimoor Hassan, Manager FUBIC, to the participants of Hult Prize, FICS23 and FUBIC incubates on 22nd February, 2023.The session was extremely interactive and revealed the steps for pitching perfectly in front of investors or judging panel. Which improve the chances of success.
Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) hosted Mr. Ahmed Mujtaba Khan, Program Manager, National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technology (NICAT), for an Introductory Session of NICAT for the students of BS Aviation, FUSST on 17 th February 2023.
