On January 5, 2024, the University of Salford, Manchester, UK, and Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) signed an MoU to promote and foster Joint teaching, training programmes, faculty exchange, joint publication, resource sharing, students progression pathway, joint application for research funding and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students.

We are delighted to host Mr. Liam Stott, International Recruitment Manager at the University of Bedfordshire (UOB) UK, on January 22, 2024. During his visit, fruitful discussions took place between Mr. Stott and FUI officials, exploring ways to strengthen the academic partnership between FUI and UOB.

Dr Zhumadilov Esengeldi Zhumadilovich, Rector Salymbekov University (SU), Kyrgyzstan paid a significant visit to Foundation University School of Science & Technology (FUSST) on Jan 03, 2024.

On Dec 18, 2023, Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) signed an MOU with Istanbul Kültür University (IKU), Turkiye, to develop academic, educational, and scientific cooperation based on equality and reciprocity. The primary purpose is to foster relations and mutual understanding between the two institutions.

Data Center at FUI Secretariat is inaugurated by Rector FUI, Major General Nasir Dilawar Shah (R), HI (M). along with some automations systems for both of FUI Campuses. Data Center is fully equipped to host various types of IT solutions of FUI campuses, departments, research initiatives, journals and inter FUI solutions, in a secure and efficient manner. Ceremony was attended by senior management including Pro-Rector FUSST and Deans from both campuses of FUI. 

Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC) organized a motivational talk session on "Women in Business Digitization" during the Entrepreneurial Week celebration on 29th November 2023 for the students of FUSST. The session aimed to discuss the connection between gender diversity and technological innovation.

Syed Taimoor Hassan, Director Foundation University Business Incubation Center (FUBIC), Islamabad, was invited as a jury member by the Institute of Space Technology (IST), Islamabad in the DevCon 2.0.

A seminar on "Exploring the Neurosciences of Addiction" was held on November 29, 2023. It provided a comprehensive exploration of the intricate relationship between neuroscience and addiction. The seminar was attended by about 150 participants, including faculty members, BS, and MS Psychology students. Mr.Fazal Wahid delivered an insightful keynote address, providing an overview of the current state of research in neurosciences related to addiction.
