External Evaluation of the 3rd Cycle of SAR Review of programs of Department of English, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences - FUSST
epartment of Quality Assurance (DQA) at Foundation University Islamabad has conducted the third external Self-Assessment Report (SARs) review of the BS, MS and PhD programs of Department of English of Foundation University School of Science & Technology (FUSST) on (Tuesday) 23rd April, 2024. For this purpose, Dr. Umaima Kamran, Associate (English Linguistic), Chairperson Department of English Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, Dr. Aroosa Kanwal, Associate Professor (English Literature), Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad were invited as external subject experts, they thoroughly reviewed the SARs of the programs on 8 criteria and 31 standards as prescribed in the Self-Assessment Manual of HEC. Both experts also interacted with the faculty and students of the department. The subject experts also visited the resources of FUSST including the library, labs, faculty offices, lecture halls etc. The exit meeting was chaired by Brig Abdul Ghafoor, Pro Rector/ Director Campus FUSST wherein the subject experts appreciated the efforts of program team (PT) members for preparing comprehensive SAR and shared their recommendations for further improvement of the programs.
