Major General Muhammad Kaleem Asif HI (M) (Retired) was commissioned in Pakistan Army’s Frontier Force Regiment in 1987. He is a graduate of Command & Staff College, Quetta and National Defence University, Islamabad. He holds Masters Degrees in War Studies and Defence Management from National Defence University, Islamabad and Arts & Science of Warfare from Command & Staff College, Quetta. He has held multiple Command, Staff and Instructional appointments which include General Officer Commanding an infantry Division, Brigade Commander of an infantry Brigade, Chief of Staff at Command Headquarters, Director General Quartering & Lands Directorate and Deputy Military Secretary, Military Secretary Branch at General Headquarters. He had been on the faculty of National Defence University, Islamabad, Command & Staff College, Quetta and School of Infantry & Tactics, Quetta. In recognition of his dedication, devotion, professional excellence and meritorious services, he has been conferred with the Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military).
