Training to Empower Young Girls (Students) as Leaders and Change Agents in Their Communities
The Placement & Outreach Office, in collaboration with the Pakistan Girl Guides Association (PGGA), organized a four-day training from April 21–24, 2025, focused on personal safety, online security, substance abuse prevention, and emotional wellbeing. Led by Ms. Saba Shahab (Deputy Director Training, PGGA) and Ms. Faiza Awan (Trainer, PGGA), the program trained female students from English, Management Sciences, Economics & Finance, and Software Engineering departments.
Following the training, students successfully conducted awareness sessions in FGPS (G) schools across the Rawalpindi region, fulfilling their community service and promoting positive change. The initiative concluded with a ceremony led by the Dean FMS, alongside HoDs and faculty, who appreciated the trainers' efforts with a token of gratitude.
