Maj Gen Nasir Dilawar Shah, HI(M) (Retd)
Major General Nasir Dilawar Shah, HI (M), (Retired) was commissioned in Pakistan Army’s Punjab Regiment in 1984. He is a graduate of Command and Staff College Quetta and National Defence University Islamabad. He holds Masters Degrees in Defence and War Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad and Strategic Studies from University of Balochistan Quetta. He has held multiple command, staff and instructional appointments which include General Officer Commanding Army Aviation Command, Director General Army Aviation and Commandant Army Aviation School. He has served as Military Secretary to Prime Minister, Director General Anti-Narcotics Force and Director General Inter- services Intelligence, Islamabad. He has also served as Brigade Major of an Infantry Brigade besides remaining on the faculty of Army Aviation School, Command & Staff College Quetta, and Pakistan Military Academy Abbottabad. In recognition of his dedication, devotion, professional excellence and meritorious services he has been awarded Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military). Major General Nasir Dilawar Shah, HI (M), (Retired) assumed the responsibilities of Rector FUI on February 01, 2021.
