To raise awareness among students and young doctors regarding prevention of hospital acquired infections, a Microbiology Seminar titled "Spread Joy Not Germs! Role of Doctors in Prevention of Infection" along with a Poster Competition is being arranged by the Pathology Department, FUMC / FFH on 05 Oct 2023.
It is an endeavour to increase students' knowledge in recognizing various practices which can lead to nosocomial infections, and standard protocols which help in curbing them. Moreover, the participants will be informed about outbreaks in the hospital, with guest speakers sharing their expertise on the topic. Finally, the young doctors will be made aware of the hazards of needle stick injuries, and guidelines to follow in case of any event.
