Pakistan’s population new realities and challenges For Human Development

On 04/11/2021, an Intuitive and informative seminar titled, “Pakistan’s Population New Realities and Challenges for Human Development" was organized under the supervision of HOD Economics and Finance – Dr. Nazima Ellahi. The two hours event was held in Seminar Hall, FURC. In this Event, around 40 students participated from the Department of Economics and Finance and Department of Business Administration.


The Event was initiated with the Name of ALLAH. It was followed by the Speaker of the event Dr. Nadia Farooq enlightening the audience on different aspects of the topic. The event was interactive and every participant of the event participated and took part in the discussion about how to control the population of Pakistan. It was further discussed that resources are limited and needs are more, so, how to increase resources. After addressing the issue of increasing population, guest speaker highlighted the practical ways of how to increase the resources for the future generation. If the population increases on the same growth rate, then our future generation couldn’t survive for more time because they don’t have resources to live.


At the end of the event, Dr. Nazima Ellahi was invited on stage to share her insights and present souvenir to the esteemed guest.

The University's programmes of study have been duly accredited by Higher Education Commission (HEC), National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) and Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC).
