Counseling Camp at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES)

National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES) organized a free counseling Camp for their students on 21 st October 2020. They requested Psychology Department of Foundation University Islamabad to provide counseling services on various social and emotional issues of students in this regard.

Dr. Iffat Rohail, Associate Professor, department of psychology along with 9 MS Clinical Psychology students (Amna Khan, Atteen Rohail, Ayesha Ijaz, Hina Iftikhar, Laiba Mansur, Nazish Shabbir, Rimsha Ateeq, Ruba Moazzam, Zohra Altaf) were detailed to provide a full day psychological support to NUCES.

The main tasks accomplished in the counseling camp were personality assessment and counseling sessions for emotional & social problems to the students of NUCES. The assessment and counseling sessions with students started from 1000 hrs and continued till 1630 hrs. More than 150 students of NUCES attended for their concerns individually. The services provided were highly appreciated by the students and staff of NUCES. At the end Amna Ali Khan, Deputy Manager, Career Services Department of NUCES awarded Certificates and Gratitude tokens to all the faculty & students who provided counseling services.
