Community empowerment refers to the process of enabling communities to increase control over their lives. In a health care setup, empowerment implies promoting health of individuals by improvements in individual self-care.
Communication plays a vital role in ensuring community empowerment. Community medicine department has launched a COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT DRIVE in pursuance of upcoming world health day on 7th April, 2023.The event will take place in lobby-Display of health walls (0930-1020hrs) and Auditorium(1045-1200hrs)
In this context, following pre- event activities are planned.
1. Community Awareness walk (Kotha Kallan)- 30th March,2023 (Thursday) 1010-1200hrs
2. Health education drive at FFH- 4th April,2023 (Tuesday) 0850-0940hrs
3. Awareness in school (Higher AIMS School, kotha Kallan) - 5th April,2023(Wednesday) 1010-1200hrs
