Exploring The Neurosciences Of Addiction

A seminar on "Exploring the Neurosciences of Addiction" was held on November 29, 2023. It provided a comprehensive exploration of the intricate relationship between neuroscience and addiction. The seminar was attended by about 150 participants, including faculty members, BS, and MS Psychology students. Mr.Fazal Wahid delivered an insightful keynote address, providing an overview of the current state of research in neurosciences related to addiction. Following the presentations, a dynamic discussion and question answer session allowed attendees to engage with the speaker, posing questions and discussing the practical implications of neuroscientific research on addiction treatment. The expert has committed to provide his valuable guidance and support for the revision of the BS/MS curriculum and the facilitation of the clinical internship placements for the students.
The expert was presented with the university shield at the end of the event, followed by refreshments. The seminar on "Exploring the Neurosciences of Addiction" proved to be a valuable platform for learning, discussion, and networking.
